As schools, districts, counties, and states constantly seek to best prepare their students for the future workforce, Career Pathways programs are taking over K-12 classrooms. Whether it’s by updating existing STEM and manufacturing programs, or bringing in an array of robots, 3D printers, and other industry technologies, students have ever-expanding opportunities to improve their education and increase employment and earnings.
At LJ Create, the Career Pathways programs are designed to provide students with the skills to succeed in CTE programs, industrial skills programs, industry certification programs, and college.
Career Pathways: Design & Technology
A project-based learning program, Design & Technology allows students to explore how science, technology, engineering, and math concepts are applied in a wide range of different career clusters, not just in STEM but also in manufacturing, energy, agriculture, health, transport and logistics, and information technology.
Designed to provide middle and high school students (grades 7-10) with an introduction to Industry 4.0 concepts and applications across a range of industry sectors, the industry 4.0 Lab provides the opportunity for students to explore concepts such as sensors and control, data analytics, and the efficient utilization of resources.
