Motion Kit
The Motion Kit allows learners to experiment with a marble run game to investigate the factors that can change the motion of a marble. Students will build a marble run using a range of pieces to alter the marble's direction and gradient. The kit also includes resources to investigate other ways in which we can make things move using forces such as wind.
The Motion Kit (500-17) is contained in a labeled storage box to allow for easy identification and selection during classroom activities. An inventory system provides simple resource management to enable replenishment of any consumable items.
Typical practical tasks that can be covered using this kit include:
- Recording Movement
- Tracking Movement
- Making Things Move
