This trainer will be the latest addition to our range of Green Technology resources. This hands-on teaching panel will demonstrate how a modern smart home manages, produces, stores, and uses electrical energy.

The Smart Home Energy Trainer (123-01) will provide students and instructors with the opportunity to enhance their understanding of smart home energy management.
The trainer will allow for safe exploration of the full energy ecosystem of a home utilizing:
- Solar power
- Battery storage
- EV charging
- Heat pumps
- Smart control systems
Features of this trainer will include:
- Demonstration of solar PV generation
- Exploration of how energy is converted and stored
- Investigation of back‑up vs non‑back‑up circuits
- Simulation of real household loads
- Grid interaction visualization
- Fault‑finding and diagnostics
